Sorry for missing last week's rankings, I got a bit behind on other things and had to focus there. Anyway, we return this week, and things continue to be interesting. We're down to one winless team, and we still have two undefeateds. Let's see what the power rankings say.
1. And Another One Bites The DL-Randy Blum (38 points)
Randy's continuing to get it done and continues to look the strongest team in the league. He remains undefeated at 4-0, and could roll to 5-0 this week, which would set up a very intriguing match-up...
2. Zimmerman Telegraph-Shane Sandri (35.5 points)
...with Shane, as both teams could go into a Week 6 match-up undefeated. But that's potentially next week. This week, we see Shane continue to flex some muscle, with another week as the league's highest scoring team. Three weeks above 1000 points makes him an incredibly tough match-up each week. If he keeps it up, he could run away with the Division 2 title.
3. A New Era-Austin Drake (30 points)
Austin takes a tough loss that came down to Sunday afternoon and now sits at 2-2. That being said, his team is clearly a tough one to beat. He will end the year a few games above .500. Don't take him lightly.
4. Yu Don't Even Know-Brian Rossen (25 points)
Brian gets a big win against Austin this week, and it was definitely needed to stay with it in Division 2. Brian's team is showing more consistency so far this season, and it could pay off in the long run. Still, he's likely going to be working hard for his wins each week, but his team is set up for a good run.
5. The Bryce Is Right-Andrew Blum (21 points)
Andrew moves up to 3-1, cruising to victory against Josh this week. The win keeps him close to Randy and puts some distance between himself and the other teams in Division 1. If he keeps it up, he's going to be strong competition all season long. His main focus needs to be getting some of those big days; he's now the only team without a 200+ point day this season.
6. Albuquerque Isotopes-Josh Blum (19 points)
Josh falls to 1-3 this week, but Sunday his team finally showed some signs of life. With his first pitcher wins in two weeks and the bats coming alive, Josh managed to put up 250 on the final day of the match-up to at least make it look respectable. If his team can manage to ride that momentum, the luck could turn around very quickly.
7. ThE RoUnD MoUnD Of ReBoUnD-Ervin Demirasi (15 points)
Ervin takes a beating against Shane this week and is back to .500. His team is still in a state of transition. One week, it's awesome, the next...not so much. If he can get some consistency, Ervin could make some strides to get away from .500 and become some competition for Shane in Division 2.
8. The Fresh "Prince"-Scott Stepaniak (14.5 points)
The fresh prince is growing stale. Scott is one terrific Sunday Week 1 comeback away from 0-4, and the injuries continue to make things tough. Still, this team is going to be a threat throughout the season, and I wouldn't expect him to stay like this for long.
9. LC Legend-Kyle Trondle (14 points)
It was bad luck for Kyle in his match-up this week. He probably should've had his first win this week, but he faced Randy, so he ended up falling again, leaving him as the only winless team. Still, he does have hope. He's going to have a tough road ahead, but some good trades along with what is a pretty solid starting lineup could be a big step in the right direction for Kyle.
10. No More Haren Addiction-Andy Ashbaugh (8 points)
Andy gets on the board this week with win #1 of the season. His team still looks like the weakest of the bunch, but he's got some potential pieces that could hit and make him an actual threat every week. Keep an eye on this team.
Looking ahead to Week 5, we get some very interesting match-ups. The game of the week seems to be #2 Zimmerman Telegraph (4-0) against #5 The Bryce Is Right (3-1). If Shane gets the win, we have the potential for a huge undefeated match-up next week. However, Andrew may be Shane's toughest match-up to date, so it should be a good one to watch.
Outside of that match-up, we get #1 And Another One Bites The DL (4-0) in a match-up that could be a breeze against #8 The Fresh "Prince" (1-3); however, Scott could prove that he is still a tough team to beat and get an important win. Also, #3 A New Era (2-2) takes on #7 ThE RoUnD MoUnD Of ReBoUnD (2-2). Austin has been pretty solid all season, so this another potential breeze of a match-up, though Ervin definitely has the potential to put up a lot of points and pull off the upset. Finally, #6 Albuquerque Isotopes (1-3) takes on #10 No More Haren Addiction (1-3) where one team is going to get a much-needed victory, and one team could have big problems on its hands if it takes the loss.

The strong run continues, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis continue going strong, holding on to the #1 spot for a third straight week. Frank Turner continues to look strong, moving up to #2 this week and giving us a potential #1 threat, while Restore drops just one spot to #3. Following closely behind is Mirrors, which moves up to #4 and continues to look like a very real threat to get to #1. We also see Whisper and Sick Of It move up three spots each this week, and both are getting closer to the Top 5 and a potential run at #1. A bit further down the chart, Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, and Blake Shelton are looking to represent country very well on the charts, with I Want Crazy and See You Again in particular look as though they could be moving up the list pretty steadily and definitely have Top 10 potential. Finally, Papa Roach and Trapt debut new songs this week. The different style of Leader Of The Broken Hearts could give it a nice boost to move up the chart in the coming weeks.

It's no surprise that Can't Hold Us holds on to the #1 spot this week, as this song continues to look strong. Though the surprise hit Recovery jumps into the Top 3 this week, it seems most likely that the next song to offer real competition for that top spot will be Mirrors, which has quickly moved up very near to the Top 5, just outside this week at #6. The Dear Hunter also continues to make good strides, this week moving into the Top 10 for the first time. Of course, Skillet can certainly be expected to make some noise, as Sick Of It jumps five spots this week and certainly looks poised to make a strong run up the chart. And three songs also make debuts this week, with Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood and P.O.D. all debuting songs this week. All three have the potential for some decent runs on the chart, and it will be interesting to see just how high each song will go.

Lakeside Fantasy Baseball: Week 2 Power Rankings and Week 3 Preview
After two weeks, we have a whole lot of teams right in the same general area. Let's see what the power rankings tell us this week:
1. Another One Bites The DL-Randy Blum (39.5 points)
We're down to two teams that are undefeated already, and Randy has put himself in a class above everyone else so far. Best record, most points so far this season...Randy is proving he's going to be a challenge for any team he faces all season long, even with all the early injuries.
2. A New Era-Austin Drake (31.5 points)
Austin takes the loss this week in a tough early season match-up against Shane. However, he's still showing that he's going to be a strong contender to win Division 2, and he's also going to be giving the Division 1 teams a run for their money every single week.
3. Zimmerman Telegraph-Shane Sandri (27.5 points)
One of the most impressive things about Shane's early season run is that he has yet to post a 200+ point day. It speaks to the consistency of this team, though, as he has been able to put forward two very strong wins early on. Shane is definitely proving to be tough competition for every team in the league.
4. The Fresh "Prince"-Scott Stepaniak (25.5 points)
Scott takes a tough loss this week, as he was unable to capitalize on a strong Saturday that put him within 30 points of victory. Nevertheless, he still sits right where he should be expected to be: Right in the thick of things in Divsion 1. It's going to be a tough go all season, but Scott seems to have a strong enough team to compete week in and week out.
5. The Bryce Is Right-Andrew Blum (22.5 points)
Andrew gets an important win over Scott this week, keeping himself from falling to 0-2 early in the season. This is another team that has proven to be pretty consistent early on, and Andrew is likely to be rewarded with a win more often than not.
6. Albuquerque Isotopes-Josh Blum (22 points)
After a tough loss on Sunday last week, Josh looked poised to fall to 0-2 this week, with a whole lot of low-scoring days (And a whole lot of no pitcher days). However, the weekend saw him surge back and pick up a big win over Brian. At 1-1, this is just another team in Division 1 with the potential to challenge every single week.
7. Arlington Argyle Socks-Brian Rossen (20 points)
Brian suffers a rough loss this week, but he still stands at 1-1. His team has the potential to be very strong, and he has, admittedly, "trimmed the fat" when it comes to how many Texas players are on his team. His team has the potential to make a run at the Division 2 title, and Austin and Shane should certainly be keeping an eye on him.
8. ThE RoUnD MoUnD Of ReBoUnD-Ervin Demirasi (13.5 points)
Ervin has shown two very different sides so far this season. Week 1 was a poor outing, but he came back and put up 900 points this week, and he needed every one of those points, as he just barely edged out Kyle for the victory, and was able to keep from going 0-2. Ervin could be a dark horse in Division 2, but he'll need to have more weeks like this if that's going to be the case.
9. LC Legend-Kyle Trondle (12 points)
Kyle had another pretty good week, but he got bested by Ervin, and he falls to 0-2 because of it. He has the potential to start picking up some wins, he just needs to keep it going for the entire week. He's certainly not out of it yet, and he has plenty of time to pick up some big wins.
10. No More Haren Addiction-Andy Ashbaugh (6 points)
It has been a rough start for Andy. He started out Week 2 pretty strongly, giving Randy a run for his money. In the end, though, Andy still ended up with the lowest point total of the week. His team has potential (And he showed that early in the week), but he's got to figure out a way to put it all together all week long.
Looking ahead to Week 3, we get some decent match-ups, as well as a few that, at least on paper, look fairly one-sided. The match-up of the week looks to be #1 Another One Bites the DL against #6 Albuquerque Isotopes. This one has been coming for a few weeks now, and Can't Hold Us finally takes its place atop the countdown. This is a song that is likely to spend a few weeks there, with the next closest songs having already peaked, with both Restore and Radioactive seeming to have peaked. However, competition could certainly be coming from Frank Turner, who moves up three spots this week into the Top 5. The Lumineers round out the Top 5, though they also seemed to have peaked. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake and 3Oh!3 both move into the Top 10 this week, and JT certainly seems poised to make it two #1 singles this year. A bit further down the list, Whisper makes a big jump this week, moving up four spots and nearing the Top 10. This one seems poised to be a surprise hit on the countdown. The Last Royals and Hanson also continue to make strides up the countdown, and both songs have Top 10 potential. Finally, Skillet make their first appearance on the countdown this year, and Sick Of It is certainly likely to move up the countdown pretty quickly.
